Why a zip track blind

Ordinary outdoor blinds flap. These don’t.

Rope-and-pulley blinds sag, bow and let the weather in around the edges. A zip track blind is engineered to do the opposite, year after year.

Stays perfectly taut

A self-lubricating zip holds the fabric flat and tensioned, so it won’t sag, bow or flap like rope-and-pulley blinds.

Sealed on every side

Fully enclosed side channels, with no visible tapes or welds, keep wind, rain and insects out far better than open-edge blinds.

Whisper-quiet

A floating side channel and sound-absorbing parts give smooth, rattle-free running, even in a breeze.

Holds firm in coastal wind

Patented multi-direction tension adjustment keeps the blind aligned in its tracks where lesser blinds pull free.

Rolls down dead level

An evenly weighted bottom rail with a suspended steel weight sits straight and true, every single time.

Built for the long haul

Reinforced fixings and built-in water drainage stand up to the harsh Australian climate, season after season.

The TrueLevel difference

Engineered to outlast the rest.

Where cheaper blinds flex, fade and let the weather in, every part of a TrueLevel blind is built for strength and a longer life outdoors.

  • Heavier-grade aluminiumA stronger extruded frame and reinforced headbox that won’t flex, warp or corrode.

  • Roller and motor fully concealedTucked inside the headbox, out of the sun, salt and rain.

  • No exposed tapes or weldsThe weak points that fail first on cheaper blinds are engineered out.

  • Quiet, anti-vibration runningBearing idlers and grommets for smooth operation, year after year.

  • Lay-flat, self-lubricating zipKeeps the fabric taut and rolling true, with no sagging, flapping or jamming.

  • Marine-grade, water-draining buildMade to shrug off the WA climate, season after season.

Lower the blinds.

A real TrueLevel patio. Drag the bottom rail to lower the blinds and watch the glare drop away while the garden stays in view through the weave, then try a few fabric colours.

Fantastic service from start to finish! The team was friendly, professional, and easy to deal with. The outdoor blinds look amazing and have completely transformed our outdoor area. Very happy with the quality and workmanship.

Iris W.Outdoor blinds · Google review

Alex is professional and prompt … these blinds are superior with the bottom rail being heavier and mounted within the track so they’re more equipped for strong winds … I can highly recommend True Level

Mick P.2 electric outdoor blinds · Google review

He is one of the few tradies who has explained how and why he needs to do certain things with updating my previous blind. … I can now honestly say I recommend him for his persistence, attention to detail & success.

Lori J.Outdoor blind update · Google review

We had Alex come out and converted [our] large patio blind to electric with a remote. Very happy with the price given as well as the workmanship provided. Install was very smooth and fast turnaround

Questions

Outdoor blind questions.

Something else on your mind? Call 0431 017 703 and ask.

Spring or motorised: which should I choose?

Spring blinds suit openings from 0.7 m to 3.8 m wide, with a drop of up to 2.7 m. Motorised blinds cover 0.8 m to 6.0 m wide with a drop of up to 3.5 m, and run from a remote. For openings wider than 6.0 m we split the span into two blinds so each one stays taut.

Should I choose 1% or 5% fabric?

Choose 1% for maximum privacy, glare control and UV protection. It suits bedrooms, west-facing walls and street frontages. Choose 5% to keep more of your view and breeze while still cutting sun, glare and insects. It’s the all-round favourite for alfrescos and patios.

How do the blinds handle wind?

The fabric is held in fully enclosed side channels by a lay-flat zip, so it stays taut instead of flapping. A patented multi-direction tension adjustment keeps the blind aligned in its tracks in coastal wind.

Can I run them from my phone?

Yes. Add the optional Wi-Fi hub and you can run motorised blinds from an app and set schedules. Smart-home integration is available where supported.

What colours can I choose?

18 Shaw Dayscreen fabric colours. Frames come in Surfmist, Classic Cream, Paperbark, Woodland Grey, Monument or Night Sky, or any other Colorbond® colour by custom powder-coat. We bring samples to your free measure.

Do you offer crank-operated blinds?

Not on zip track blinds. If you’re after a budget-friendly option, ask about our crank-operated straight-drop blinds (no tracks or pelmet) at your free measure.
